I KNEW I WANTED FINANCIAL SECURITY

I grew up in a typical Mormon family home. My mom was a stay-at-home mother and my dad worked. Growing up in a family of 6, with a single-source income from my dad, we never had enough money. One of the most mentally exhausting memories I had was the constant worry of being stranded on the side of the road because my mom's car kept breaking down.

I was suffocated by my religious beliefs imposed by my parents. I didn't feel I could be myself under those limitations. Nothing was ever good enough. I just didn't fit in.

I PRETENDED.

I pretended to be a perfect child, all the while knowing I did not want the same lifestyle as my parents.

My upbringing wasn't big enough to hold my vision.

I HAD MOTIVATION, BUT NO
DIRECTION.

At the age of 17, I had 4 jobs. Making a lot of money. Spent money, blew a lot of money.
At age 19, I found myself single and pregnant.

I FOUND MY FOCUS AND USED
MY DRIVE.

Being pregnant made me focus and gave me direction I lacked. I went from partying several times a week and splurging the money I made to working hard and saving my money so I could bring my child into a home of our own.

And that is exactly what I did. By age 20, I bought my first home.

MY 3 BIGGEST CHALLENGES ENDED UP BEING THE BEST 3 THINGS OF MY LIFE.

At age 20, I fell in love and got married, had my first child, and found myself $20K in debt.

This debt caused me so much anxiety that I knew I had to pay it off as fast as I could. And from that, I discovered the trick to becoming a millionaire. I got an envelope, titled it "Do I Really Need That?" and put my credit card in it. Any time I wanted to buy something, I pulled out that envelope and asked myself that question.

The money I would have spent is exactly how much I saved. Doing this over and over created the best savings habit that was so simple.

THEN, I HAD THE MOST FREEING REALIZATION.

It all started with one real estate course. And because of my saving habits, I bought my first real estate property. I put in $16 and that simple yet single move started a cash flow that would generate $550 net/month. From then on I was hooked. It was like a game.

This was finally the path to becoming a cash flow millionaire. My belief is that real estate should be part of everyone's portfolio. This is the only vehicle I know of that has not gone down over a 10-year period and that will never go to 0!

SO, HOW DID I BECOME A MILLIONAIRE?

The investor lifestyle is about sacrificing what you want now, start saving, so you can have anything you want later. It just takes some discipline and focus to play this game, but you can make it. You can become an everyday millionaire just like me.

Today, I own over 80 properties that continue to cash flow for me. Even though I'm not a huge spender, I have the peace of mind knowing that I can pay for things I want and need without decreasing my net worth.

 Living the investor lifestyle has given me the freedom to spend time with my family, create other business I'm passionate about, take advantage of any amazing opportunities that come my way, and have the time to help others achieve the same financial freedom.
